CLIMBING

A's favorite thing to do when she comes to Momo's house is to climb underneath the end tables. She is pretty good at it. I told K it won't be long until they can enroll her in gymnastics.

A, LULU, AND OTHER THINGS

K and A came over yesterday and we went to eat at a little country restaurant in our town. Hubby has always raved over how great the food is. He has gone with co- workers to eat at it and K and I had never been. Well, we were not excited over the food at all and the waitress was not very friendly. It was like she knew we weren't a regular there. So, we will mark that one off our list.

A will only keep a bow in her hair for about five seconds now before she yanks it off. It is cute watching her take it off.

She loves Lulu but not sure if Lulu is that fond of her.

It was really nice here yesterday. We even had a little breeze. I took A out on the patio for a good while. She loved watching the leaves on the trees, and listening to the birds. I almost got her to sleep before her and mommy had to leave.

"CHILDREN OF THE CORN"

When we were in Kansas City last week, we noticed there was corn being grown everywhere. I know that Kansas is a state that grows lots of corn but it seemed like every vacant strip of land had corn growing on it. This field of corn was really close to M and T's house.

We asked them what was up with the corn and they said people were growing it because they could get a good price for it. It was being used to make ethanol.

After seeing field after field of it K and I both agreed it reminded us of the movie "Children of the Corn."

MY GRANDBABIES

This is a picture of C with his birthday cake. His mom got a picture of it and she sent me one. It was a transformer cake and it was very good.

These pictures are cute of C and his dad playing on his big water slide.

When we were in KC Aunt T bought A an activity table. A loves it, she loves the lap top the most. But, she will stand for a while, then get on her knees. We don't know if she is lazy or maybe her little legs get tired. Although, she doesn't have a lot of weight to hold up. She looks big in pictures but she is tiny in person.

We left for Kansas City early Thursday morning. This is what A spent most of her time doing going and coming. She was so good. You could not have asked for her to have been any better.

Of course, we stopped at Braums going and coming back.

We arrived at M and T's house in the afternoon. T came over to eat with us that night. M made lasagna, it was really good.


C shared his baby jeep with A. She loved it, but we found out that only A can shake herself in it, no one else can.

C decided to climb in, but had a little trouble fitting. He had to get on his knees.


On Friday, C opened the birthday gifts that we had all brought for him and he sure needed more TOYS, because he doesn't have enough. Being sarcastic in case you didn't catch that.

After opening gifts, we then all went to Chuck E Cheese's. Since there were no parties going on, the rat didn't make an appearance and C was sure happy about that. T has tried to explain, that it is just someone dressed up, that she used to work at Chuck E Cheese's and that she dressed up as Chuck E but he has trouble understanding that. I didn't get a picture of C at Chuck E Cheese's because he was too busy.

But A sure had lots of fun.

A is really checking out the animated Chuck E, but did not seem scared of him at all.

When we got back home, we ate cake and ice cream, but I guess I didn't get a picture of the cake.

On Saturday, we all went to Legends and shopped and then came home and hung out on the deck because it was so nice outside, until it started raining.

C making A happy. Later on that night C asked T if she was staying late just to hang out with him and she said yes is that OK and C said YEAH that is OK. We told everyone goodbye last night and left really early this morning. We really enjoyed it.

GOING TO KANSAS CITY

K, A, M, and I are going to Kansas City to visit for a few days. We are all going to help C celebrate his birthday again with another birthday party. Don't you think everyone needs at least two birthday parties. Especially if you are only four.

We are planning on going to Chuck E. Cheeses for his party but C is not too fond of the Rat. Not sure that A is going to like him that well either, but I guess we will find out. Will also do some shopping. T is taking off some days so we can all spend some time together. This will probably be the last time we see M before she has her baby. Who knows if we will be in Oklahoma when the baby arrives. The way it is looking now, we will still be in Arkansas. M is due Nov. 17th.

Should have lots of pictures to share when I get back.

MISS A AT WORK

K e-mailed me this picture of A today. She said she had washed and folded all of A's clothes and A made a bee line to pull them all out. She said she had such a serious look like this is really hard work.

C GOES TO THE FAIR AND A BIRTHDAY PARTY

C also went to another friend's birthday party over the weekend.

This mom goes all out for birthday parties.

She also spends lots of money on the parties. She gave each guest a spider man swimsuit and also a bag of goodies. But C had lots of fun.

SHOPPING AND EATING

K and A came over today and since I had a showing at two and needed to get out of the house, we decided to go to Conway and do some shopping.

K's friend Tammy had told us about a great sale going on at Kohl's. They had all their summer baby clothes on clearance. We got some really good deals. Thanks for telling us Tammy.

A was content to just ride in the stroller. She sits up really good in the stroller now.


I think this picture is cute, she is saying Mommy I don't need my hat on in the store.

We then went to Market Place Grill to eat. We ordered the flaming dip. A was not scared but she sure took notice.
