HUBBY'S BIRTHDAY

Hubby celebrated his 63rd birthday today.  Tracy, hubby and I went to Red Rock Canyon Grill to eat.  It was really, really good.  Tracy and hubby had been to eat there before but I never had.  It overlooks the lake.  It was really nice today. The temperature was around 65 but a little windy.

ABBY/FUN IN THE SNOW

Although Abby doesn't have as much snow to play in as her Kansas City cousins. She is still having fun.  She is having a snowball fight with her daddy and I think she lost.

While all the grandchildren were here, I wanted a picture of them in front of the lighthouse at the big lake.  I have always liked lighthouses and I think this one is really neat.


Can you tell that it was  really, really windy.  The temperature was actually in the mid-sixties, but the wind made it feel so much colder.

Abby was having fun walking on the big rocks, even if it was windy and cold.

People were even kite surfing.  I know that water had to be cold.   I am sure they had on a wet suit though.                                                      

ABBY'S BIRTHDAY

Abby's fifth birthday party this year was at Chuck-E-Cheese. She enjoyed it, that is for sure. Tracy worked at Chuck-E Cheese for over four years, when she was in high school and college.  The very same Chuck-E-Cheese where the party was.  I don't know how she tolerated the noise for that long.


It was a really cute cake. but there was a ms-hap in getting it from the car into the party.  The top layer slid off.  We fixed it the best we could, but it still tasted really good.  It was so moist.

Abby loved the big rat, but a few of the kids did not.

Carter found something to do other than trying to collect as many tickets as possible.

The two cousins stayed together.  You never saw one without the other.  Just wish they could be together more.

ICE STORM 2013

These pictures are of the ice storm we had a few days before Christmas.  We also had a big frost on top of the ice.  It made everything really pretty.  These pictures were taken around the city.   Our city has lots of statues and  thought the ice made all of them really pretty.
