KC TRIP

We took a break from unpacking and took a trip to Kansas City to watch our grand kids play ball. Tracy and Abby went with us. It is now a six and a half hour drive instead of a 4 hour drive from Oklahoma. But the scenery is definitely a lot prettier this route.


The first night was Carter's game. He even pitched some.

The next night was Karlie's game and it was her last game of the season.  She got a medal and a cupcake.  She was so proud of both.

Carter and his dad played in a golf tournament in another city on Saturday, the day we were leaving. Carter did really good.  They came in 4th place.

FATHER'S DAY LUNCH

We met Tracy, Kim and Abby for church yesterday and then went to lunch for Father's Day.

Abby came over today. It has been so hot and humid here so, we went and bought Abby a slip and slide to play in the water. The heat index was 108 degrees when she was playing on it.

DAISIES ARE IN BLOOM

I guess they are daisies, not really up on flowers. I think I will have flowers blooming all summer long.

MISS ABBY/FLOWERS AT NEW HOUSE/ARKANSAS

Kim and Abby came over Sunday and spent the afternoon with me. Abby rode her scooter on the patio and posed for pictures for me. We sat out on the patio and listened to the golfers go by.  Some of them are very loud.  I told Abby that her pap-pa wants to teach her to play golf.  She says she only wants to learn if she can drive the golf cart.  She may have to wait until she is a little older to drive the golf cart. We have flower beds that completely surround our house. I don't even know the name of most of the flowers.   I do know that these are Day Lilies. There are flower beds completely surrounding our house.  But they need to be weeded and new mulch put down.
