COWBOY BOOTS?

Or maybe they are cowgirl boots. But, whatever you call them, are they not the cutest things that you have ever seen? Karlie will be celebrating her first birthday in less than six weeks and these boots are one of the gifts that she will be receiving from Momo and Pappa. I think I may have to go get Miss A a pair also, but her mommy is not really a cowgirl type of person.

A TINY BIT OF FALL

There are a few things that I miss not being in Arkansas and one of them is the Fall. Maumelle had so many trees and they were beautiful in the Fall. There are not that many trees here and the ones that are here do not turn the pretty colors in the Fall.

I remarked to T the other day that people here also don't tend to decorate much for Fall. Maybe because there is not much of a Fall. It just seems to go from Summer straight into Winter.

I did drive around today and found a few trees turning and also one house not to far from us that had out a cute Fall display.

In our neighborhood.

This tree's leaves had turned a burgany color, which does not show up in the picture.

This house is located in a neighborhood not far from us. I love scarecrows. My favorite of all Fall decorations. They look like they are Mr. and Mrs. Scarecrow.

GO POKES

Hubby and T have season tickets to all of OSU's home football games. This family beside them also has season tickets. T says that at every game the little girls wear their cheer leading outfits and have their faces painted. So, I told her to take a picture of them and send it to me. T says they are excited at the beginning of the game but seem ready to go home by half time.

GOING OUT TO EAT

Hubby is out of town, so T and I decided to drive to the big lake in Oklahoma City to eat at one of the restaurants on it tonight. There are several restaurants located on it, but we decided on a Mexican restaurant called Mama Roja's. I had a taco salad and T had the fish tacos. My taco salad was really good, maybe even better than Ted's and T said her fish tacos were very good also.
This was the view from our table. It was raining really hard the entire time. But we really need the rain.

GOING HOME

T is taking K and A back to Arkansas tomorrow. We are going to miss them. A got to go to our neighborhood pool today. She did better about getting in the water than she ever has before. They said that the water was a little cool. But she seemed to enjoy it.

UNPLUGITS

We took A to a place yesterday called Unplugits. It has a play area and also an arts and crafts area. She had lots of fun and I think it was worth the seven dollars it cost for her.

I think she enjoyed the sand box most of all.

She also enjoyed the slide.

They had an area where they could play dress-up but she mainly just like putting on the shoes and walking around in them.

She was really too small for most of the arts and crafts.

WE CELEBRATE!!!

K and I celebrated our birthdays yesterday by going to Ted's to eat. Best Mexican restaurant ever.

I thought this was a cute picture of hubby and A waiting for a table at Ted's. There is always a wait, no matter when you go.
A dipping her chip in cheese sauce and eating it.

T told the waitress that it was K's birthday and they came and made her stand up and put a sombrero on and sang happy birthday to her. A wasn't so sure about it all. They were not allowed to tell them it was my birthday.

We then came home and had cake and ice cream. Our cake.A stuck her finger in the icing but would not lick it off.

MISS A HAS ARRIVED

T, K and A all arrived this afternoon. A even allowed us to dress her in the cute little outfit I had bought her. She even let mom put a bow in her hair.
Doesn't she look like a little ballerina?
But then she decided it needed to come off?
