FALL/2017

It finally felt a little like fall today. The high was 81. Last week it was still in the 90's.  So, it put me in the mood to do a little fall decorating.

We finally trimmed our sweet potato vine back.  I think we were letting it grow just  to see how much it would grow.  The one on the right died.  Not sure if we are going to get any mums to go on the pots or not.  But I do need to get some pumpkins to go on our porch. I didn't put a wreath on our door last fall because we didn't have the door painted yet.  It looks so much better painted.

SWEET POTATO VINE UPDATE

Yes, I think we got our moneys worth out of this sweet potato vine. There is a pot that it is in. We finally had to move it so people could come in our front door. We are trying to decide if we are going to go ahead and pull it up to make room for our mums for the fall.

VISITORS

We had visitors this morning. We knew they were coning around since we were seeing tracks in our yard. Our neighbor took this picture for us at 6:30 this morning. We are not up that early, well sometimes hubby is but not this morning. She said she caught something out of the corner of her eye and it was the deer in our back yard. They will be coming around more since it is getting cooler.

BRANSON/LABOR DAY

Tracy, Hubby, Kim, Abby, Jack and I met Michelle, Carter and Karlie in Branson for Labor Day weekend. We stayed at Stonebridge a really nice gated resort. The next morning, Michelle hubby and Carter played golf at Ledgestone, the golf course on the resort. A really pretty golf course but has lots of  hills.

Abby and Karlie on the patio. Our condo had a screened in patio which made it nice to not have to worry about getting eaten by mosquitoes.

Aunt Michelle and Jack.  Jack got plenty of attention on this trip and loved it.

While Michelle, hubby and Carter were playing golf, Kim and Tracy took the little girls and Jack to the pool.  I think it was a little cool for Tracy and Kim but the little girls had fun swimming.
Jack looks so cute in his little outfit but he did not care for the pool.  Kim only put his foot in and that was enough for him.

They also got to go ride go-carts and bumper boats.

All the nieces and nephews love Aunt Tracy.  This is at Fall Creek where they throw the rolls.  This is Carter's favorite restaurant.
Before we left I had to have a picture of all four in their team outfits. Carter and Karlie are big Mizzou supporters but actually Abby would wear any team shirt.
