HALLOWEEN/GRAND-KIDS

I thought since it is getting close to Halloween, I would put some pictures on of the grand-kids in their Halloween costumes.

This is a picture of my grand-kids 1st Halloween.  We took Carter to a studio in Little Rock to have his picture made.  He is not happy in this picture because his dad would take his pacifier out of his mouth just when the photographer would snap the picture.

We also took Abby to a studio to have her picture made in her little piggy costume.  She is wanting to take the hood off.  She wasn't happy at all with it on.

We didn't get to take Karlie to a studio to have her picture made but I think she had fun her first Halloween as a cat.  We were surprised she kept her ears on.

HALLOWEEN LANTERN SWAG

I received this in the mail yesterday from Michelle. I had told her I wanted one of these from Etsy for my birthday gift. The site had sold out, so she just decided to make me one. I think she did a really good job. It looks just like the one on Etsy. Tracy gave me the lantern two years ago for Christmas.

FALL DECORATING

I am doing a little fall decorating.  It is a rainy day in Oklahoma, but I managed to go outside and take a few pictures.  It was misting when I took these pictures.  I have also done a little decorating on the inside.  I will try to take some pictures next week of  them.

DOLL CRADLE

This doll cradle is over thirty years old.  It belong to my youngest daughter.  It was brown until just recently.  I have been meaning to paint it ever since moving in this house five years ago.  So, after procrastinating for five years, I finally painted it last week.  I have to say it was a pain to paint.

I have several dolls upstairs in the bonus/toy room.  Abby always wants a bed to put her baby doll to sleep in.  Karlie will just improvise.  I know both of them will love having the bed now for their dolls when they come to visit.

My mother even crocheted  blankets and also made a quilt for Kim's cradle.  They are also over thirty years old.

Mother even sewed the pieces of  this little quilt by hand.
