ABBY STARTS KINDERGARTEN

My oldest grand-daughter is in kindergarten.  My youngest grand-daughter will start pre-school in September.  They are growing up. Sigh!

CARTER STARTS THIRD GRADE

My grandson is a third grader.  Abby starts kindergarten on Monday.

UNPLANNED VISIT FROM OUR KC GRANDKIDS

We enjoyed a visit from our Kansas City grand-kids this week.  It was not a planned visit.  Michelle's good friend, that she had known since kindergarten passed away and they came to attend the funeral. Even though it was a sad occasion, we enjoyed getting to visit with them.

They got to go to our neighborhood pool on Thursday.  They played water tag with Pap-pa.

There was hardly anyone at the pool which is unusual.

We went down to Brick-town on Friday and they all rode the boats on the canal. Carter and Karlie enjoyed it.  But it was so hot and muggy.

Does Karlie look hot?  There were lots of people riding the boats.

We went to eat at Toby Keith's after riding on the boats.  They have tailgates to sit on.

Karlie sure was thirsty.

Doesn't it look like hubby is on a diet?  Yes, he did eat it all.  No to-go box for him.
