MEMORIAL DAY 2014

Tracy invited us over yesterday for a cookout. We grilled steaks, it was a real treat for all of us, since we don't really eat beef anymore. We also had a salad, potatoes and Tracy made a dessert from Skinny Ms. It was all really good.  It rained all weekend and even rained while Melvin was grilling the steaks.  I am not complaining because we really needed the rain.  Oklahoma was definitely in a drought and that was causing too many grass fires.

Hubby grilling the steaks.

Tracy's cats Mimi and Gwen.  They tolerate hubby and I but not sure they really like us.  They pretty much stayed like this the entire time we were there. One on the sofa and one on the chair.

I was standing on Tracy's patio and took this picture.  You can see how close the pond is to her house.
Just the tip of one pond.  There are seven ponds in her neighborhood.

GRANDKIDS

Abby graduated from pre-school last week.  When we were in Arkansas for Easter, she told me that next year she will be going to kindergarten.  She then asked 'Momo do you even know what kindergarten is'? Ha  Carter will be going into 3rd grade next year and Karlie will start pre-school.  No little babies any more, they are growing up.

Karlie loves popcorn.
