CARTER AND KARLIE'S EASTER

Carter and Karlie spent their Easter in North West Missouri with their other grandparents this year. They always have a big dinner with extended family and then an Easter egg hunt with the kids. I think Karlie figured out getting as many eggs as possible was what it was all about.

Looks like she found a rocking horse. She loves rocking horses.

Ready for the hunt.

OUR EASTER

We left for Arkansas on Friday morning. We decided to stay in a hotel this time. Hubby and I did and Tracy stayed with Kim and family. That way no one was put out of their bed. Kim and Abby met us at the hotel and we all went to dinner at the Olive Garden. Jamie joined us there after he got off work.
Abby at the Olive Garden. She is looking at Tracy instead of the camera.

After we finished eating, we then took Abby to see the Easter bunny. She liked him.

We all then went back to the house and Abby decided to put on her bunny suit and be the Easter bunny. She is holding her dolls in her lap like the Easter bunny held her.

A cute picture of Abby and Tracy with lamb ears on.

The next day she got to go to an Easter egg hunt at a local park.
Notice she picked up almost all blue eggs.

These pictures were taken after we returned from going to a steak restaurant for Easter dinner. When Kim put her dress on, she said that she was a princess.

We really enjoyed our visit. We left yesterday morning to come back to Oklahoma. We had Kim, Abby and Tracy just meet us at the hotel instead of going back to the house. We wanted to avoid what happened the last time we were in Kansas City. When Karlie saw us pull out of the drive way and realized we were going back home, she started crying and it broke our hearts.

HAPPY EASTER

We are leaving for Arkansas. I was just remembering, we have spent every Easter with Abby since she was born. Her first Easter, she was only three or four months old and it rained so hard all that day. We ended up having to go to a Japanese steak house to eat, since every other restaurant was packed. Abby slept through the entire meal though. So, hope the weather co-operates with us this year.

I didn't really do any decorating since no one would be here, but I did do an Easter tablescape.
