BOTANICAL GARDENS

These are some other pictures we took at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
Michelle said that they want to keep it a nature park and she has been pushing the kids in the stroller on one of the paths before and deer run in front of them.

I AM BACK

I took a break from blogging, I guess. No one probably even noticed, but my kids. They kept asking if I was going to ever update again. I really haven't had a lot to blog about and also just haven't been in the mood.

But, we took a trip this weekend to Kansas City to take Easter goodies and gifts to Carter and Karlie. It rained on us all the way there, but it turned out to be a beautiful weekend with Saturday and Sunday in the seventies.

Carter and Karlie getting into their baskets of candy. Tracy showed Karlie how to pop open the egg with using just one hand and she had a blast doing that.
This little train was from pappa and me. Both Karlie and Abby love trains. So, I got one for Karlie and will be taking one to Abby when we go to Arkansas for Easter. Karlie loved it. She made sure it was going around the track at all times, even if she wasn't in the room.
Tracy bought this little water table for Karlie and she loved it also. She also has one for Abby.

Carter enjoyed playing in it also. We took Carter to ToysRUs and let him pick out his gifts.

We also took them to the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and took some pictures. I think everyone else had the same idea since the weather was so nice. We got a few cute ones. Tracy said she knew when Karlie grabbed her blanket and wanted her papi(pacifier) that the picture taking was over.
After we finished taking pictures, Cater suggested we go to dinner. We ended up going to a Mexican restaurant. Carter loves chips and cheese dip.
I have pictures of Carter at this same age eating chips.
