DECORATING

I put my Christmas wreath on the door today. That is about as much decorating as I have done. T and hubby put the tree up while T was here but I have not decorated it yet. Hopefully, I will do that this weekend. But, I do have at least half of my shopping done and wrapped.

A CHRISTMAS PARADE

T, hubby and I went to a Christmas parade in a small town nearby last night. It didn't have very many floats. I guess I was kind of disappointed. I had not been to a Christmas parade since I left the small town I grew up in. I use to enjoy the Christmas parade so much in my small town. It did bring back memories, seeing the little kids run into the street to retrieve the candy that had been thrown out. Even one float threw out stuffed animals. We took lots of pictures but these were the only two that wasn't really dark.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T was the only one that came for Thanksgiving this year. But, we sure were glad to have her with us. M and family are at hubby's parents house in North West Missouri. K and family are spending it with friends. We had lots of food. Lots of leftovers so I will not have to cook any more this weekend. We are stuffed. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.

OUR TRIP TO KC

Hubby and I left for Kansas City on Friday. When we arrived, we were greeted by C and mommy holding Karlie. T came over that night to eat with us after she got off work. M had made barbecue and T had made some dishes also and brought them over.

The next day, T, M, C, Karlie, hubby and I all went to Legends to shop.

Karlie all dressed and ready to go shopping.

Legends was already decorated for Christmas.

They even have a little train that pulls the kids around the stores.

We went to the Children's outlets and I think we found lots of good deals. This was just from one store. Karlie and A are going to have matching pajamas for Christmas.

After we finished shopping, we went to the Long Horn Steak restaurant to eat. C said something funny that is why T is laughing. We think C is going to grow up to be a comedian.

I just have to show you a picture of all of C's toys. These are not even all of them. There are toys in the garage and every other room of the house. But , M did fill a garbage bag full of them when Papaw had C occupied doing something else and sent them home with us. C will have them to play with when he comes to visit us. Just hope he doesn't miss them or they will be making a trip to Oklahoma to get them. I would say that he has no idea how many cars and trucks he has but I bet he does.

Karlie is holding in her pacifier. She is a really good baby. She only cries when she is hungry. C says she also cries when she doesn't want her diaper changed.

Cute picture of T and Karlie.

We left this morning to come home and I already miss everyone, but hopefully we will get to see everyone for Christmas.

A SHORT TRIP

We are going to Kansas City for a short visit. We are going to see our newest granddaughter. Of course, we will also be visiting our grandson, our two daughters and son-in-law. We plan to do some shopping. We will hit those children's outlets. I think M is ready to get out of the house for a while. Maybe we can also help take care of C and Karlie and she can get some things done around the house. I think she is planning on doing some Christmas decorating while we are there. Hope to have lots of pictures when I get back.

MEMORIES

I found another box. This box had old photo albums. One full of sports pictures. My kids played softball, basketball and M even played tennis for a little while. They also took gymnastics and dance. None of them really cared for dance. But they never played soccer. I wonder why? But, anyhow it is fun to go back and look at the old pictures.

This picture was taken at a tournament in Tulsa, Ok. I also remember it was really windy and every time I opened my mouth to cheer, it was filled with dirt. T's team won the tournament and they got trophies and also carnations. They had one carnation left over and they gave it to K. K was really excited to get it and but can you tell T was a little embarrassed.

This picture shows how much we were into ball. M's birthday cake that year was a bear with an Lil Eagles uniform on. Whose idea do you think it might have been. Probably not M. Hint, her dad was the coach of her team. But, it was a cute cake.

M and K's teams both got trophies that year.
